Q: What Sort Of Therapies Do You Use?

A: At Psychology In Time we use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques which we tailor to our clients. Our clinical approach have been scientifically validated in research trials and shown to be effective at achieving significant psychological improvement. Our clinicians have been trained in a variety of therapies such as:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Q: Do You Offer A Medicare Rebate?

A: If you are referred to a psychologist by your GP or Psychiatrist with a Mental Health Care Plan, you can claim a Medicare rebate of $124.50 per session for up to 10 sessions of psychological therapy per calendar year.

 

Q: What If I’m A Private Health Care Patient?

A: You may be eligible to receive a contribution towards psychological services from your private health fund. Please check the details of your cover with your provider if you intend to make a claim.

 

Q: Are There Any Discounts Available?

A: We believe that psychological services should be accessible to everyone regardless of their financial circumstances. The following discounted fees are available to pensioners, and low-income earners:
50 minute consultation: $130
Assessment and report-writing (per hour): $170

Q: What If I Want To Cancel My Appointment?

A: If you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment, we ask that you do so more than 24 hours before an appointment. A 100% cancellation fee will apply if this criteria is not met.
